Company dances will be placed accordingly based on availability in each show. Company parents will receive a final show breakdown prior to ticket sales going live.
Ticketing will begin on March 30th at 12:00pm. It's assigned seating, selected by you.
Each family can initially purchase a maximum of at least four seats per dancer, with an additional two seats for each additional dancer you have in the same show. You do not need to purchase four seats if you do not need them.
To purchase tickets, please follow the steps below:
- Determine which show you will need to purchase tickets for before logging on, based on the show breakdown provided in your recital packet.
- On Monday, March 30th at 12:00 p.m. use this form to reserve your spot in line to purchase tickets. (This form tracks families in the order in which they register. )
- You will then be contacted by the studio staff via text to pick seats for the appropriate show(s).
*This process will take several weeks to complete, as it is a bit tedious.
Once every family has secured the minimum seating for the shows, and every dancer has the chance to have their family in the audience, we will put the remaining seating up for sale.
Adult tickets sell for $25, and Child tickets sell for $15. Lap-seated children do not need a ticket.
Tickets can be paid for by cash, check, Zelle, Venmo, or credit card. Should you choose to pay be credit card, a 3.05% + $.035 fee will be added to the ticket costs. You can avoid these additional fees by paying with the other methods available.
Payment for tickets is due at the time of selection. Your studio account balances MUST be paid in full before purchasing tickets. You will NOT be allowed to purchase tickets if you have an outstanding account balance, regardless of your position in the ticketing queue.
While we will do our utmost to have families with multiple dancers in the same show, please be aware that sometimes that is not possible given the volume of students and classes participating. Sometimes it is necessary for dancers in multiple classes to be in more than one recital as well. If you are a family that will be affected by either of these situations, you will receive an email prior to ticketing going live to address the situation.
We will be offering a complimentary livestream of our annual production as well for our dance families that have family members unable to attend in person. Livestream information will be sent out the day prior to recital, once the school has set it up.
Staging Rehearsal will take place on Wednesday, May 13th starting at 4:00pm at Oswego High School.
Each class will have a designated time slot. View the detailed schedule here.
Please see below for a few important details.
- Staging rehearsal is mandatory unless arrangements are previously made ahead of time.
- Please arrive at the Oswego High School fifteen minutes before your designated time according to class.
- Students should wear their dance attire and bring their dance shoes. No jeans or dresses. It is not necessary to bring your costume.
- Hair should be off the dancer's faces.
- No stage makeup is necessary for staging rehearsal.
Thoughtful consideration has gone into the costumes that have been chosen for your child. It is important that they are age-appropriate and of the highest quality while keeping affordability in mind.
Upon arrival of your child’s costume, we will determine what, if any, alterations need to be made. We have tried our best to have each costume arrive as close to fit as possible. Alterations will be made on each costume, with your prior approval. If you should choose, you have the option of doing your own alterations.
Costumes will be distributed when all outstanding costume balances have been paid. To ensure that there are no costume problems, students should not wear their costumes prior to annual production except for your individual class dress rehearsal. We recommend that you place your child’s name in all costumes, shoes, accessories, and tights.
To avoid any discrepancies in color and style, students will be required to have specific tights for their class performance number. Revolution Dance Studio will provide the tights. Please do not wash your tights before the Annual Production.
Please be sure that your child has the appropriate footwear. Should you have questions regarding this, please see your child's teacher.
All female students are requested to wear light stage makeup for the recital. Recommended makeup is dark pink lipstick, pink blush, eye shadow, and mascara.
Makeup is just a helpful tool to make your child more visible from the stage and on the video.
Uniform hairstyle is required for each class. Your teacher will instruct you, prior to recital, how they would like it to be worn. All ponytail holders should match the student’s hair color.
Don’t miss the chance to pre-order your 2025/2026 Recital T-Shirt! Our recital t-shirts are a great way to remember the event long after it's over!
Recital t-shirts are pre-order only. Please order by May 10th.
Annual Production photos will be on May 16th at Settler’s Park in Plainfield.
Photos will be taken outdoors. A changing area is also available for students with multiple costumes.
Picture day is run on a prearranged appointment schedule, meaning parents reserve a specific time for their photos and leave as soon as they are taken.
You can reserve your date and time here.
There is no obligation to have individual portraits taken. Cost is $30 per dancer.
You will receive one pose or action shot per costume. Dancers may take pictures in as many costumes as they would like. Sibling photos are okay, but no family pictures will be taken.
If an additional picture day is required once all slots are filled, we will gladly add another date.
Parents may videotape or take non-flash photography of the children during the staging rehearsal, but videotaping and photography are not allowed during the actual performance.
A professional video of the entire performance will also be available for sale. Order your recital Digital Download here.
Families have the opportunity to purchase flowers provided by Floral Expressions & Gifts. Flowers are a wonderful way to celebrate your child and make them feel special for a job well done.
To order, please complete this form and turn it in to the Revolution Dance Studio team by Friday, May 6th.
To ensure that your student feels confident about their performance, we ask parents to encourage your child to rehearse their dances regularly at home. The music that your student is performing to is uploaded directly into the parent portal. Please download it on whatever sort of portable device you choose so that your student can practice it.
Class attendance is also an imperative part of your child’s success. Please make every effort to make it to class consistently.
The check-in table will be at Door 13 outside the cafeteria.
- If your child is performing in the 10:00 a.m. show, we ask that your child arrive at Oswego High School in their first costume and check in with their class between 9:30-9:40 a.m.
- If your child is performing in the 1:00 p.m. show, we ask that your child arrive at Oswego High School in their first costume and check in with their class between 12:30-12:40 p.m.
- If your child is performing in the 4:00 p.m. show, we ask that your child arrive at Oswego High School in their first costume and check in with their class between 3:30-3:40 p.m.
Pick-Up After the Show
The check out table will be located at Door 11 inside the atrium.
After the finale, we will return the dancers to the cafeteria, starting with the youngest classes and working our way to the oldest classes.
We ask that one parent come check their child out to avoid overcrowding and confusion. This ensures that each child ends up where they are supposed to be.
Students will be able to pick up all their belongings after the show in their class's designated area.
While backstage and in the dressing area, all students must respect other students’ property and person. No food or drink will be allowed in the dressing area. We will provide the students with “costume-friendly” snacks and drinks.
Please let us know if your dancer has an allergy we should be aware of.
The dressing area will be staffed with volunteers who will tend to them while you are patiently waiting for their performance. If your dancer has an allergy that we should be made know of, please be sure to inform Revolution staff.
Parents and family members do not belong backstage, in the dressing rooms, or with the classes during the Annual Production. There is a lot of backstage activity with limited space. The dressing rooms should remain a private area.
Please remind your family and guests to be respectful of these areas. We have many friends and family that have volunteered to help make this Annual Production a success. Please remember that they are not being paid to be here, generally have no ties to any of these students, and they are doing this out of the goodness of their hearts. Please be respectful of this. They are helping so that you don’t have to!

SHE IS FLOURISHING
We have been with Rev for 4 years now and wouldn't go anywhere else. All of the teachers know my daughter by name and always have a smile for her. She feels comfortable with all of the staff and is flourishing under their guidance.
